9-Ball Pool - May '04![]() This was a game I created with my brother using OpenGL and Adobe Photoshop to create the textures. This was done as part of an introduction to graphics class at University of Illinois. The game includes somewhat realistic physics to correctly capture ball collisions, banks, and spins. The three lights above the table cast projective shadows of the balls on the table. Geometry was created using simple openGL primitives. The rules of 9-ball are programmed into the game, allowing for two players to compete against each other. This took aroud 2 weeks to complete. >> More >> Physics of Pool |
