Bowling - Feb '05

This was an animation project done at Parkland College. The focus of the project was natural motion, so the animation tries to portray the weight of the objects and how they interact with each other. I just modeled a simple bowling alley using polygons and NURBS surfaces, and I created the animation using as a reference a video of a strike that I found online. Since the strike happens so fast I tried to make it a little more instersting by having one pin hang around a little longer and roll into the gutter. This ended up looking a little unnatural but I think it makes it more interestingw to watch. Click on the image to see the video.
