Matt Townsend - Portfolio/Homepage

Hi. Welcome to my homepage. I put this together to showcase some of the work I have done in computer graphics. I've posted some of the projects I have worked on both independently and as part of classwork. I graduated from the University of Illinois with a degree in Computer Engineering in December 2005, and I currently work as a software engineer at Visual Concepts, located in Novato, California, where we develop the 2K Sports series of console video games. I've recently worked on the titles APF2K8, NBA2K8, and College Hoops 2K8.

So the site is a little outdated, but still has some pretty neat stuff on it I think. I've included both art and computer science projects, some are short, some are long, and a few are unfinished. I'll eventually get to updating it with some of my latest work, but in the mean time, this is all I got. As far as life, well thats pretty good. Except I discovered that moving to California doesn't cure you of being a Cubs fan. But the weather helps, and the wine, and the golf. And the wine. I recently started classes again at the Academy of Art where I'm pursuing an MFA degree in film, so I've been doing a fair number of projects there that I'll try and post here soon.
